About the role

Job description: Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Software Engineer based in Bodeli, Gujarat. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining a residential mobile proxy platform, where Android phones act as exit nodes and customers connect over SOCKS5/HTTP. Responsibilities include building back-end services in Go (REST/WebSocket APIs over PostgreSQL and ClickHouse), working on VPS edge infrastructure (gost, OpenVPN, Linux networking), and contributing to a Kotlin Android app with an embedded gomobile Go engine. Additional tasks include debugging across the full network path, testing, and operating the deployment stack (Docker Compose, Prometheus/Grafana). The role offers the opportunity to own features end to end in a small, hands-on codebase. Qualifications - Strong programming skills in Go, or a solid systems programming background with willingness to learn Go - Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, proxy protocols (SOCKS5, HTTP CONNECT), VPNs/tunneling - Experience with Linux server operations (Docker, iptables, monitoring) - Working knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL - Familiarity with Kotlin/Android, ClickHouse, or OpenVPN/PKI is a plus - Ability to analyze problems and provide effective solutions - Proactive learning attitude and teamwork skills - Conversational English skills preferred - Preferable but not required - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: - Flexible schedule - Paid time off Ability to commute/relocate: - Bodeli, Vadodara, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Language: - English (Required) Work Location: In person
