Job Description: Senior Manager Non-Motor Underwriting Position: Senior Non-Motor Underwriter Location: Jaipur Package: 8 to 10 LPA Experience: 10+ years in Non-Motor Underwriting Based: Rajasthan only Key Responsibilities: 1.Risk Assessment & Underwriting: 1.Evaluate and underwrite non-motor risks (property, liability, marine, etc.) based on company guidelines and market trends. 2.Conduct thorough analysis of risks, coverage requirements, and pricing to determine appropriate terms and conditions. 3.Ensure compliance with internal underwriting policies and external regulations. 2. Team Leadership & Mentorship: 1.Lead and mentor a team of junior underwriters, providing guidance and support in underwriting decisions and technical matters. 2.Assist in training new staff members on underwriting processes and best practices. 3. Client Interaction: 1.Support the sales and business development teams in understanding underwriting requirements and responding to complex client queries. 2.Review and optimize pricing strategies, taking into account market conditions, competition, and emerging risks. 4. Claims Support & Coordination: 1.Collaborate with the claims team to ensure the underwriting process aligns with claims handling practices. 2.Review claims trends and provide input on risk management strategies to minimize future claims. 5.Market Research & Product Development: 1.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging risks to ensure that underwriting practices remain competitive. 2.Provide input for the development and refinement of insurance products.
