Full job description WE’RE HIRING: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – ZAMBIA We are seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to drive business growth and build strong client relationships within Zambia’s mining and industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities: Develop relationships with mines, contractors, procurement teams, and end users. Identify sales opportunities and convert enquiries into confirmed business. Navigate mine supplier registration and procurement processes. Coordinate client visits and follow up on quotations, enquiries, and proposals. Maintain a strong sales pipeline and report business opportunities to management. Requirements: South African national with substantial sales experience in Zambia’s mining sector. Established professional network and connections with Zambian mines. Good understanding of mining operations and procurement processes. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Industrial or technical sales experience is an advantage. Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to mine sites. Industry: Mining & Industrial Services Location: Zambia Salary: Negotiable, based on experience, CV, and proven sales track record.
