# Job Description – New Product Development (NPD) Manager **Company:** Bioweal Products Pvt. Ltd. **Location:** Bangalore **Experience:** 4–7 Years **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Work Mode:** Work From Office ### About the Role We are looking for an experienced **New Product Development (NPD) Manager** to lead the development and launch of new products across our growing portfolio of **women’s hygiene, personal care, baby care and wellness products**. The candidate will be responsible for taking products from **concept to market launch**, working closely with manufacturers, vendors, R&D, procurement, quality, packaging, marketing and sales teams. ### Key Responsibilities * Identify and develop **new product concepts** based on market trends, consumer needs and business opportunities. * Manage the complete **NPD lifecycle – concept, sampling, testing, formulation, packaging, costing and launch**. * Coordinate with **manufacturers, suppliers and R&D/formulation teams** for product development and trials. * Source and evaluate **new ingredients, raw materials, packaging materials and manufacturers**. * Review product samples and coordinate product testing and modifications. * Work with procurement and finance teams on **product costing, MOQ, margins and pricing**. * Coordinate packaging development, product specifications, labelling and artwork requirements. * Ensure products meet applicable **quality, safety and regulatory requirements**. * Manage NPD timelines and ensure products are launched within agreed schedules. * Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify product opportunities and improvements. * Maintain product specifications, formulation details, samples and NPD documentation. * Coordinate with marketing and sales teams for **product positioning and launch requirements**. * Monitor initial product performance and coordinate improvements based on market/customer feedback. ### Required Skills * New Product Development & Product Lifecycle Management * Product/market research * Vendor & manufacturer management * Product formulation/development coordination * Sampling, trials & testing * Product costing & pricing * Packaging development * Quality & regulatory understanding * Project management * Strong negotiation and communication skills * Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities * MS Excel and documentation skills ### Experience Required **4–7 years of relevant NPD experience**, preferably in: * FMCG * Personal Care * Women's Hygiene * Baby Care * Beauty & Wellness * Consumer Products * D2C/Product-based companies Candidates who have independently handled products from **concept → development → sampling → testing → packaging → production → market launch** will be preferred. ### What We Are Looking For A **hands-on, commercially aware and detail-oriented NPD professional** who can work with manufacturers and internal teams and drive multiple products simultaneously from concept to successful launch. **Salary:** As per experience and industry standards. **Interested candidates can share their updated CV at:** **[lisha@bioweal.com] or 9740755077
