About the role

is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to support our environmental consulting and technical project teams. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate CAD drawings, site layouts, environmental infrastructure plans, maps, and technical drawings required for environmental studies, project reports, statutory submissions, and client deliverables. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of AutoCAD, strong attention to detail, and the ability to understand and convert technical information, survey data, and consultant inputs into clear and professional drawings. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and revise 2D drawings, site layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and technical drawings using AutoCAD. • Prepare drawings and layouts required for environmental consultancy projects, including: o Project/site location plans o Land-use and site development plans o Environmental monitoring location plans o Greenbelt / plantation plans o Water supply and drainage layouts o Storm-water drainage plans o Waste storage and disposal layouts o ETP/STP layouts and related infrastructure o Solid and hazardous waste management layouts o Industrial and infrastructure project layouts o Utility and pipeline layouts • Prepare drawings, maps, and plans for EIA/EMP reports and environmental regulatory submissions. • Assist consultants in preparing drawings for Environmental Clearance, Consent to Establish (CTE), Consent to Operate (CTO), compliance reports, and other environmental documentation, as applicable. • Convert survey drawings, site measurements, GPS coordinates, engineering information, and consultant inputs into accurate CAD drawings. • Incorporate revisions and comments received from consultants, engineers, clients, and regulatory authorities. • Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, dimensions, scales, legends, title blocks, and revision history. • Prepare drawings and layouts for inclusion in technical reports and presentations. • Coordinate with environmental consultants, engineers, GIS teams, and project managers to understand drawing requirements. • Maintain organized project-wise folders and records of CAD drawings and revisions. • Ensure timely completion of drawings according to project schedules. • Support the technical team with any other drafting and documentation requirements. Required Qualifications • Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field. • 2–5 years of relevant experience in drafting, preferably with an environmental consultancy, engineering consultancy, infrastructure company, or similar organization. • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD. • Knowledge of QGIS/ArcGIS will be an added advantage. • Knowledge of Civil 3D or other CAD/GIS software will be preferred. • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, site plans, survey plans, and engineering layouts. • Basic understanding of environmental infrastructure and industrial/project layouts is preferred.
