Company Portfolio: What to Include and How to Make One That Wins Clients and Candidates
1 October 2026 · 7 min read · GoodProfile Team
A company portfolio is one page that shows what your business does, what it has delivered and how to work with it — for a client deciding whether to call you, and for a candidate deciding whether to apply. Small businesses, startups, agencies, contractors and consultancies use it alongside (or instead of) a full website, and send it as a link in WhatsApp, email and proposals.
Company portfolio vs company profile vs website
- Company profile — a formal document (often a PDF) with history, registration and management. Good for tenders; rarely read end to end.
- Website — many pages, built for search and for detail.
- Company portfolio — one page of proof. Fast to read on a phone, easy to share, easy to keep current.
What to put in a company portfolio
- Header card — logo, name, one-line description ("IT services and consulting in Bengaluru"), location, team size, and one main button: "Work with us" or "Get a quote".
- Links first — website, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp. People want to check you out quickly.
- What you do — three to six services or products, one line each.
- Numbers — only real ones: projects delivered, clients, years in business, cities served. Skip the numbers you cannot back up; "0+" looks worse than nothing.
- Work — case studies or project photos with the client's result.
- Clients and testimonials — logos or short quotes, with permission.
- Team — founders or key people, with photos, if you are a small firm; people buy from people.
- We're hiring — your open jobs. A portfolio is often a candidate's first look at you.
- Contact — a form that sends enquiries straight to your inbox, with phone optional.
How to make a company portfolio free, from your website
On GoodProfile, a company account can type its website address and the portfolio is drafted from it: the name, description, services, products, numbers, social links and logo are read from the site and turned into cards. Adding the website is optional — you can also start from your GoodProfile company profile. Then:
- Check every card and delete anything that is not right.
- Move your links to the top and your best work next.
- Add photos of real projects — every image can be cropped as you upload it.
- Your live jobs appear in the hiring card, so candidates can apply from the page.
- Publish at
goodprofile.in/portfolio/your-companyand share it.

Where to use it
- Your WhatsApp Business profile and the first message to a new lead.
- Proposals and quotations — "see our work" with one link.
- Job posts — candidates who see your work apply with more confidence. You can post jobs free on GoodProfile.
- Printed brochures, visiting cards and stalls — as a QR code.
Measure it
Every visit, link click and enquiry is counted on your portfolio dashboard, and enquiries from the contact form arrive in your leads list — so you know whether the page is bringing business.
Make your company portfolio free on GoodProfile — type your website address and GoodProfile drafts the page for you: services, products, numbers, links and your open jobs. Edit anything, then share one link.
